Job Overview
Streampoint is looking for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the delivery of client events from kickoff through post-event wrap-up. Working closely with our Project Managers, you'll keep projects organized and on schedule, maintain project documentation, and help coordinate our creative, development, operations, and support teams. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to build a career in event technology. You'll gain hands-on knowledge of Streampoint's platform and learn how successful events are planned and delivered.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Support Project Managers in delivering a portfolio of client events on time and within scope
- Maintain project documentation, including work-back schedules, requirements documents, meeting notes, and status reports
- Track deadlines and deliverables, and flag risks or delays to the Project Manager early
- Help gather and organize client requirements and project specifications
- Coordinate with internal teams to make sure tasks are assigned, understood, and completed
- Assist with building, configuring, and testing event registration sites in the Streampoint platform
- Help coordinate logistics for on-site registration, including equipment, shipping, and staffing
- Support on-site registration setup, operations, and teardown, and help train temporary staff
- Assist with project close-out, including final reports and lessons-learned documentation
- Follow company procedures related to project tracking, contracting, and invoicing
- Actively embody and promote Streampoint's culture and values
Qualifications
- 1–3 years' experience in project coordination, event operations, or a related field
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines at once
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort learning new software; experience with registration platforms or project management tools is a plus
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and willingness to ask questions
- Basic understanding of computer and network setup, or a willingness to learn
- Previous event planning or event technology experience is a plus
- Willingness and ability to travel across North America for on-site events, including weekends; a valid passport is required
