Responsibilities
Operate and maintain hospital boilers, chillers, generators, cogeneration, medical gas, HVAC, and building automation systems. Troubleshoot and repair plant and HVAC equipment, maintain water treatment and preventive maintenance programs, and respond to building-related emergencies and service calls.
Requirements
Requires an Ontario Third Class Operating Engineer certificate, significant recent power plant operations experience, and experience with HVAC systems and refrigeration. Candidates need strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, knowledge of building automation and HVAC controls, effective communication and teamwork abilities, and the physical capacity to perform demanding maintenance tasks.
