Responsibilities
Conduct all tests offered in the Pulmonary Function Laboratory, including setting up and calibrating testing equipment and performing quality control. Follow laboratory procedures, maintain documentation and supplies, and ensure patient confidentiality and safety during testing.
Requirements
Requires an active Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RCPT(P)) credential and good standing with the Canadian Association of Cardiopulmonary Technologists, along with a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences or a related discipline. At least one year of experience is required, as well as strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills and the ability to adapt to change.
