Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support in the day-to-day management of human resources activities. This role contributes to recruitment, employee onboarding, personnel record management, and the implementation of company policies and procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment and Onboarding
- Assist with job postings and candidate recruitment.
- Screen resumes and conduct preliminary telephone interviews.
- Schedule and participate in interviews.
- Conduct pre-employment checks when required.
- Prepare hiring documents and new employee files.
- Coordinate new employee orientation and onboarding.
- Monitor employee probationary periods.
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Prepare documentation related to employee transfers, position changes, and terminations.
- Enter and update information in the HR management system.
- Prepare HR reports and statistics as needed.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and benefits.
Training and Development
- Coordinate employee training and professional development activities.
- Monitor compliance with mandatory training requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee training records.
Employee Relations
- Address employee inquiries and concerns, referring matters to the HR Manager when necessary.
- Assist with tracking attendance, absences, and disciplinary matters.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.
- Ensure the confidentiality of employee information.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant experience in human resources, administration, or customer service is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in French (spoken and written) is required.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong sense of initiative, discretion, attention to detail, and professionalism.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Working Conditions
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Work Schedule: 42 hours per week
- Salary: $23 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
