Position Overview
The Systems Project Manager is responsible for delivering integrated low-voltage systems projects with a focus on security, healthcare technologies, life safety interfaces, and intelligent building systems. This role manages the planning, execution, integration, commissioning, and turnover of complex systems that support facility operations, patient care, security, and occupant safety.
The Systems Project Manager works closely with owners, consultants, healthcare stakeholders, contractors, and technology vendors to coordinate multi-system integration projects and ensure seamless interoperability between platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage systems projects from award through closeout.
- Lead deployment of access control, CCTV, security management, intercom, paging, RTLS, and healthcare technology systems.
- Coordinate integrated building and security technologies across multiple vendors and disciplines.
- Manage cross-platform integration and interoperability requirements.
- Oversee commissioning, functional testing, and system acceptance activities.
- Coordinate security command centres, monitoring systems, and enterprise management platforms.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders.
- Manage project schedules, procurement, budgets, forecasting, labour, and subcontractors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Support client training, system turnover, and operational readiness activities.
