About The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initial planning through completion while ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely procurement, delivery, and installation of materials.
- Work closely with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and project stakeholders.
- Monitor project schedules, costs, quality, and overall progress.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings while maintaining quality.
- Address customer concerns, manage change orders, and troubleshoot project issues.
- Ensure projects comply with applicable health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Support business development by identifying potential opportunities and maintaining a strong professional network.
- Lead, coordinate, and mentor project teams.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the project.
- Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or degree in Construction Technology, Architectural Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of construction project coordination and management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge or experience with Divisions 8, 10, and 28, including:
- Doors and frames
- Architectural hardware
- Access control
- Building security systems
- Specialty doors
- Proficiency with project management and technical software, including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and ERP systems.
- PMP, AHC, DHI, or related certifications are considered an asset.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
