Position Overview
Reporting to regional leadership, the Manager is responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll oversight, and receivables management. The role supports business performance by monitoring financial results, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and coordinating audit, tax, and reporting requirements. This individual will also partner with stakeholders on process improvements and special projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor regional financial performance and oversee accounting processes.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and analyse key variances.
- Manage accounts receivable, payroll review, and commission payments.
- Ensure compliance with financial, regulatory, and trust account requirements.
- Lead annual budgeting, capital expenditure planning, and forecasting activities.
- Support quarterly and year-end audit processes.
- Identify and implement improvements to internal controls and financial procedures.
Desired Candidate
- Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience in commercial real estate.
- Background in financial reporting, analysis, and operational accounting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Fully bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organisational, communication, and time-management abilities.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
