Who We Are:
Taiv is a fast-growing tech startup located in Winnipeg, Canada. Taiv uses AI to make business TV more fun, engaging, profitable, and easier to manage, starting with bars and restaurants. We've built proprietary tech that uses computer vision to watch live TV and improve the content with contextually-aware commercials, content, and games. Our tech also automates the manual AV tasks that venues have to do every day, to make bar management easier, standardized, and more profitable. We're venture-capital backed and graduated from Y Combinator, the world's top tech accelerator, in winter 2020. Program alumni include Airbnb, Instacart, DoorDash, etc. (www.ycombinator.com/topcompanies).
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager, Advertisers to join our growing team!
What We're Looking For:
This role owns Taiv's advertiser product: how brands and agencies buy and run campaigns across our venue network. Today we run a portfolio of both generally available and custom campaigns. Your job is to turn that portfolio into a sales offering that's repeatable at scale.
You'll report to our Head of Product and work directly with an engineering team, design, and our ad sales team. This is a hands-on senior role. You own discovery, specs, delivery, and customer contact for your area, while the Head of Product sets direction across areas and settles trade-offs between them. You'll have real ownership and a direct line to leadership.
What You'll Be Doing:
Own the vision, roadmap, and outcomes for the advertiser product, prioritizing the work with the highest return.
Partner closely with ads leadership on what we sell and where the product goes next.
Package our ad products into ready-to-sell offers.
Turn our measurement and data into return on ad spend (ROAS) proof that sellers use in every pitch.
Agree on requirements and success measures with sales before engineering commits to large deals.
Talk to customers often. Brands, agencies, and our own sellers will show you what they need and where it hurts, and you'll run user research and usability testing with design to dig deeper.
Write clear requirements and partner with the Ads technical lead to plan delivery and keep technical decisions in line with product direction.
Pitch new initiatives tied to company goals, with a business case clear enough to earn buy-in from leadership.
Track the metrics that matter for your area and use them to make product decisions.
Build a release process and product documentation so sales, support, and operations always know what's shipping and how it works.
Use AI heavily (data analysis, prototyping, sub-agents, QA) to move faster and unblock the team.
Travel occasionally to major ad markets like New York and Los Angeles for agency meetings and events.
Who You Are:
You're an owner. Hand you a product area with little structure and you'll run it, from strategy down to the details of a release.
You're technically minded and AI-fluent. You're comfortable coding with AI (Claude or similar) and reasoning through technical trade-offs.
You're analytical and business-first. You know when a problem needs strategic thinking and when it just needs to get done.
You communicate clearly, in writing and in person. You can bring engineers, executives, salespeople, and customers along with you.
Your Qualifications:
4-8 years of product management experience in B2B software, owning a product area end to end.
A track record of shipping products that moved a business number like revenue, adoption, or retention. We care about the outcome more than the feature list.
Ad tech experience is a big plus. If you don't have it, you're ready to go deep and learn the ads business fast.
Experience packaging or pricing a product so it sells without custom work.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
