Aa leading manufacturer of valves for naval, commercial marine, and nuclear applications, is seeking a hands-on Planning Manager to lead production planning, scheduling, forecasting, inventory management, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead production planning, scheduling, material planning, and capacity planning.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Operations to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor inventory, WIP, material availability, capacity, and production constraints.
- Develop and track KPIs, dashboards, and operational reports.
- Use Power BI, advanced Excel, and ERP systems for data analysis and decision-making.
- Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement, lead-time reduction, and inventory optimization.
- Provide management with production status, risks, recovery plans, and performance insights.
Key Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
- Manufacturing experience required; low-volume/high-mix or custom manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, forecasting, inventory, capacity planning, and scheduling.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, formulas, and dashboards.
- Advanced Power BI experience.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Fluent in French and English (written and verbal).
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
- CPIM/APICS or Lean certification is an asset.
