This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional who enjoys being hands-on, solving complex challenges, and driving continuous improvement across multiple business divisions.
Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you'll play a key role in protecting our employees, drivers, and operators. Strengthening our safety culture, managing claims, and developing programs that make a meaningful difference across our organization.
Why Join tappCONNECT?
✅ Direct access to senior leadership and decision-makers
✅ Opportunity to build and enhance programs rather than simply maintain them
✅ Diverse operations that provide variety and professional growth
✅ Influence organizational culture and business performance
✅ Lead both Health & Safety and Claims functions
✅ Competitive compensation package
✅ Monday to Friday schedule promoting work-life balance
✅ Collaborative, supportive, and forward-thinking environment

- Create training programs that improve performance and compliance
- Build a culture where safety becomes a core value, not just a requirement
Your work will directly impact employees, drivers, and operators' well-being, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and organizational success.
Who You Are
You are a relationship builder who can confidently work with executives, managers, frontline staff, drivers, operators, regulatory agencies, legal representatives, insurers, and external partners.
You enjoy:
- Solving problems
- Investigating incidents/accidents and identifying root causes
- Leading training and development initiatives
- Developing systems, policies, and procedures
- Using data to drive decision-making
- Coaching leaders and influencing positive change
You aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and tackle challenges head-on while keeping people at the center of every decision.
You have experience maintaining and supporting COR (Certificate of Recognition) certification, including audit preparation, implementation of corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Growth Opportunity
We recognize that exceptional Health & Safety professionals come from a variety of backgrounds.
While certifications and experience are important, we understand that no candidate checks every box.
If you're passionate about safety, claims management, and continuous improvement, we encourage you to apply. Ongoing development and training opportunities are available for the right candidate.
