Inside Sales Representative

Taylor Steel Inc. is looking for a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our Sales Team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, building relationships, solving problems, and developing their career in sales. You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to manage accounts, coordinate orders, and help grow our business.
What You'll Do
- Manage an assigned customer account base and help drive profitable business growth.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring pricing, product details, delivery requirements, and terms are correct.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Quality, Scheduling, and Shipping to coordinate orders and ensure customer specifications and delivery timelines are met.
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
- Monitor raw and finished goods inventory and help anticipate future customer requirements.
- Prepare reports and provide purchasing recommendations based on inventory needs.
- Develop an understanding of market pricing, industry trends, and costs related to material, processing, packaging, and delivery.
- Work with management and account partners to develop sales forecasts.
- Work toward established sales goals related to volume, gross profit, and inventory levels.
- Provide support and coverage for other members of the Sales Team as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an asset.
- Previous B2B sales experience is an asset.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- CRM experience is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
