Are you an experienced Production Artist with a background in print production? Do you have a passion for creating accurate, high-quality artwork and preparing files for production? We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our ArtRoom team in Winnipeg.Pay: $20.00 per hour
Responsibilities
When your actions lead to success:
- Create and prepare artwork using Adobe Illustrator on Mac systems.
- Interpret customer specifications, blueprints, and job tickets.
- Set up artwork on company proof templates and production layouts.
- Apply trapping techniques and prepare files for print production.
- Manage color separations and proofing requirements.
- Work with Pantone, CMYK colors, fonts, line screens, and print-ready files.
- Organize and maintain digital artwork in Mac and PC environments.
- Collaborate with team members while managing assigned projects independently.
- Follow all workplace health and safety standards.
Qualifications
When your expertise drives us:
- College Diploma or Degree in Design, Graphic Arts, Production Art, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the print industry.Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Experience trapping Illustrator files and preparing artwork for print production.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and customer instructions.
- Knowledge of color separations, Pantone and CMYK processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
