We currently have a role as a Bilingual Project Manager - Microsoft Power Platform and 365 with our large consulting client on a long term project with a major investment bank in the downtown Montreal area. This role can either be a permanent role or a long term contract.

Location: Hybrid - Downtown Montreal, QC -(roles starts off 5 days in office for 1st 3 months, then turns into hybrid setup 3 days onsite, 2 days from home)
Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 + 9% bonus + 3-5 weeks paid vacation + 6% RRSP matching + benefits + sick/personal day + cell phone allowance + discounts for public transit and may other perks
Rate: $100-$110/hr as incorporated contractor
Position Summary
We are seeking a bilingual Senior Project Manager with at least 10 years of project-management experience to lead the design, implementation and governance of enterprise Microsoft Power Platform solutions and related Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 capabilities.
The successful candidate will coordinate business, technical, security and governance stakeholders while managing complex initiatives from planning through deployment and operational transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise Power Platform projects through initiation, planning, design, implementation, deployment and operational handover.
- Manage initiatives involving Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Copilot Studio and Dataverse.
- Coordinate integrations and dependencies across Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure and other enterprise systems.
- Establish and maintain Power Platform governance frameworks, standards and operating procedures.
- Define environment, security, access, data-loss-prevention, application lifecycle management and release-management practices.
- Support the implementation and ongoing operation of a Power Platform Centre of Excellence.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk registers and executive status reports.
- Manage scope, priorities, dependencies, issues, risks and change requests.
- Facilitate requirements, planning, design and governance workshops in both French and English.
- Coordinate internal teams, Microsoft partners, vendors, architects, developers and business stakeholders.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, privacy, accessibility and data-governance requirements.
- Oversee testing, user acceptance, deployment, training, adoption and change-management activities.
- Track project performance, adoption, business value and governance-compliance metrics.
- Present project status, recommendations and decisions to senior leadership and steering committees.
- Promote responsible platform adoption while maintaining appropriate security and governance controls.
Mandatory Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience managing enterprise technology projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading the design, implementation and governance of Microsoft Power Platform capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse.
- Experience delivering projects involving Microsoft 365 and/or Dynamics 365.
- Experience developing or implementing Power Platform governance, including:
- Environment strategy and administration
- Security roles and access controls
- Data-loss-prevention policies
- Application lifecycle management
- Connector and integration governance
- Solution deployment and release management
- Monitoring, support and operational standards
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional enterprise programs.
- Strong experience with project planning, budgeting, resource management, risk management and executive reporting.
- Experience working with technical architects, developers, business analysts, security teams and senior business stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Agile, hybrid and traditional project-delivery methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full professional fluency in both French and English is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience establishing or managing a Microsoft Power Platform Centre of Excellence.
- Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform Center of Excellence Starter Kit.
- Understanding of Azure services, Microsoft Entra ID and enterprise integrations.
- Experience with Copilot Studio, AI Builder or Microsoft Copilot capabilities.
- Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure or Microsoft 365 certification.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master or comparable project-management certification.
- Experience delivering organizational change, training and platform-adoption programs.
- Experience working in a large, regulated or public-sector environment.
