Every day throughout Ontario, the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) is working to enhance public safety where people live, work and play. We take pride knowing that our work makes a difference in the lives of people across the province.

As a not-for-profit, public safety regulator established by the Ontario government, TSSA oversees the safety of amusement devices, elevating devices, ski lifts, boilers and pressure vessels, operating engineers, and fuels. Our dedicated team of professionals in IT, finance, engineering, inspection, law, human resources, communications, data analytics and licensing works to reduce harm and build a safer Ontario through engagement, evidence, enforcement and education.

With 150 employees at our head office in Toronto and more than 300 who work directly in operations right across the province, we are committed to making a positive impact in every community we serve.
