Engineers typically work as part of a project pod alongside a Lead Architect, delivering hands-on implementation work on client engagements.
Job Description
As a Databricks Data Engineer, you will:
- Build and maintain production data pipelines using SQL, Python, and Apache Spark on Databricks.
- Implement Medallion Architecture patterns using Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
- Support batch and streaming data integration workflows for client projects.
- Work within a project pod under the direction of a Lead Architect, translating designs into working pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing data pipelines.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineers across active client engagements.
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with hands-on experience on the Databricks platform.
- Strong working proficiency with SQL, Python, and Apache Spark.
- Experience with Delta Lake and production data pipeline development.
- Comfortable working in a client-facing consulting delivery model.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Databricks certification is an asset.
