The Warehouse / Customer Service Representative is a key player in keeping our branch running smoothly. In this role, you’ll support both warehouse operations and customer‑facing activities - helping with order fulfillment, inventory handling, and hands‑on customer service. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure fast, accurate processing and an exceptional experience for every customer, all while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Schedule:
7‑on / 7‑off schedule with 12‑hour per day shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Represent and champion the Tenaquip brand at the branch and on-site, building strong, lasting client relationships.
- Drive growth by expanding existing accounts and developing new business.
- Share insights through bi‑weekly sales reports and monthly performance presentations.
- Track key sales metrics to support continuous growth and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Keep branch and site activities aligned with corporate goals and standards.
- Maintain a strong presence at the Albian and Horizon sites, overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth performance.
- Manage vendor‑managed inventory (VMI) programs and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Oversee inventory control, cash handling, and branch opening/closing procedures.
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient facility layout.
- Manage procurement of supplies while keeping costs controlled and service levels high.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards; provide training when needed.
- Lead and support warehouse and inside sales teams to ensure fast, accurate order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- Works a 7‑on / 7‑off schedule with 12‑hour shifts.
- Able to travel to required sites (Albian or Horizon).
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction with professional, timely service.
- Clear and respectful communicator; listens well and asks questions to ensure understanding.
- Able to prepare simple quotes and respond to routine emails.
- Comfortable tracking inventory, performing reconciliations, and adjusting for variances.
- Detail‑oriented with accurate work habits; follows procedures and reports issues when they arise.
- Able to identify basic problems and use established methods to solve them.
- Makes routine decisions using set guidelines and seeks guidance when needed.
- Proficient with basic functions in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. required.
