Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, technical consulting, enterprise application implementation, or related delivery roles.
- Strong experience delivering configurable enterprise or SaaS solutions in client implementation environments.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Python, J2EE, object-oriented design, design patterns, Maven, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery practices.
- Strong database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, data analysis, and troubleshooting across application, configuration, integration, environment, workflow, performance, and deployment issues.
- Experience designing, developing, or supporting REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, JSON/XML interfaces, batch interfaces, file-based integrations, data mappings, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with Kubernetes, at least one cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and messaging or streaming technologies such as Kafka or Redpanda.
- Strong understanding of API design, service integration, authentication, authorization, secure interface patterns, encryption and decryption for files, data in motion, and data at rest, and OWASP Top 10 risks.
