Role Description: As the Graphic Designer at TG Appliance Group, you will have the exciting opportunity to create visually stunning and compelling designs that reflect the elegance and sophistication of our luxury appliance brands. You will collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop creative assets that engage our customers and elevate our brand presence.
Job Duties:
- Design and production for a variety of materials including social media graphics and digital billboards, static and animated banner ads, email campaigns, flyers and brochures, trade catalogues and other miscellaneous creative projects
- Create and produce JPEGs, PDFs, video, infographics, charts, thumbnail images, and other design elements
- Create interactive PDFs using publishing software
- Integrate multimedia concepts with technical graphic design elements, as appropriate
- Develop specifications and standards for printing and other production.
- Use pre-press knowledge to prepare and set up print requests (e.g paper type, ink, etc)
- Inspect proofs for accuracy and adherence to corporate standards
- Provides technical graphics assistance to production personnel, content authors, publishers, clients, and/or vendors/service providers
- Participate in marketing strategic planning meetings
- Coordinate and maintain a library of graphics, media, digital records, and other enterprise content
- Performs other miscellaneous marketing duties as assigned
Requirements
- Post secondary education in graphic design or related field.
- At least 5-7 years of direct work experience as a graphic designer
- Agency/Studio experience an asset
- Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Microsoft Office
- Well versed in the latest graphic design methods, practices, techniques, and associated principles
- Solid understanding of creative and communication strategy
- Outstanding design and conceptual skills
- Strong knowledge of page layout and photographic requirements
- Strong knowledge of printing/publishing procedures and standards
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to accept and integrate constructive feedback
- Effective deadline management and project management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills required to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders and/or content owners
- Ability to analyze and interpret user requirements
