Role Description: The Web Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in London, ON. The person in this role will build, maintain, and optimize websites that support client branding and customer experience objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing front-end user interfaces, implementing back-end functionality, integrating APIs and third-party services, and ensuring sites are responsive, accessible, and performant. The Web Developer will collaborate with designers and branding strategists to translate creative concepts into functional digital experiences, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional web development experience is required
- Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS, with solid working knowledge of JavaScript and PHP
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites
- Proven experience working with WooCommerce and Shopify
- Strong understanding of responsive web development and cross-browser compatibility
- Familiarity with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience implementing APIs, forms, analytics and third-party website integrations
- Knowledge of website performance optimization, technical SEO and accessibility best practices
- Experience troubleshooting website functionality, compatibility and performance issues
- Familiarity with Git/version control and modern development workflows
- Working knowledge of hosting environments, domains, DNS, website migrations and deployments
- Strong problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced agency environment
