Accounting Manager
Montreal, Quebec (or Greater Montreal, Quebec)
120K - 150K (CAD) + bonus
We are hiring an Accounting Manager for a growing manufacturing client in the Greater Montreal area. This is a hands-on seat with direct exposure to the President and CFO, built for someone who wants ownership and room to grow with the business.
The role
- Own day-to-day accounting and month-end close in a manufacturing environment
- WIP, project/job costing, inventory, and GAAP financials
- Reporting, forecasts, and support for leadership
- QuickBooks (current system) plus expense reporting
- Partner across operations as the company scales
- No direct reports today
What they’re looking for
- 5–9 years of progressive accounting experience in small or mid-size manufacturing
- Solid WIP and project accounting
- Strong GAAP financials
- CPA or Canadian equivalent highly preferred; public accounting mix is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree minimum
- Hungry, clear communicator, comfortable being the accounting lead without a large department underneath you
- Eligible to work in Canada
Compensation & benefits
- Base up to ~$150K CAD, plus 10% target bonus
- 3 weeks PTO
- Supplemental health coverage (employer pays 50%) on top of provincial coverage
