The Risk Management Analyst is responsible for supporting corporate risk, insurance, and claims management, including risk assessments, business continuity planning, insurance renewals, claims administration, budgeting and forecasting, and management reporting. The role collaborates across functions and with external insurance partners to ensure accurate records, timely reporting, and effective management of organizational risk.

How will you contribute to our success?
As a key member of the Risk Management team, you will help protect CSL's global operations by supporting corporate risk initiatives, managing insurance programs, and overseeing claims activities. You will collaborate with teams across the business to assess and mitigate risk, coordinate insurance renewals, monitor claims performance, and prepare reports and analyses for senior leadership and the Board. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of risk management, insurance, finance, and maritime operations in a global organization.
- Support CSL's corporate risk management framework, including business continuity planning, enterprise risk reviews, and revenue risk assessments.
- Coordinate global marine and non-marine insurance programs, including policy renewals, risk reporting, insurer communications, and premium management.
- Partner with technical, commercial, finance, treasury, and legal teams to maintain accurate insurance records, budgets, forecasts, and vessel risk information.
- Manage and monitor insurance claims from initial notification through resolution, working closely with insurers, brokers, surveyors, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare risk and insurance reports for senior leadership, the Executive Committee, Audit & Risk Committee, and the Board of Directors.
- Analyze loss trends, claims performance, insurance costs, and risk exposures to support informed business decisions.
- Lead regular meetings with insurance brokers and insurance providers to ensure effective claims and policy management.
- Support emergency response activities and contribute to special risk management projects as required.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in marine claims management and/or marine insurance management is considered an asset.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and technologies.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and reporting.
- Knowledge of marine insurance, including Protection & Indemnity (P&I) claims management, is considered an asset.
