We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking full-time Men's Locker Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping Team. This role plays an important part in creating a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our members and guests. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the locker rooms and laundry areas. You will be responsible for ensuring all areas are well-maintained, fully stocked, and presented to a high standard while providing friendly and professional service to members and guests. This position requires someone who is dependable, attention to detail, and able to work independently while also being a strong team player. Responsibilities:
- Facilitate incredible customer service through consistent and genuine interactions that ensure the needs of members and colleagues are addressed timely and efficiently
- Maintain a safe, clean and maintained facility for all members and guests through various tasks such as mopping, vacuuming and laundry room tasks
- Consistent upkeep, restocking, and maintenance of assigned areas including the identification and reporting of opportunities for efficiencies and continuous improvement
- Assist members and employees with locker room needs in a courteous and professional manner, including escalation of concerns when required
- Actively collaborate and communicate with membership and colleagues to ensure service requirements are met, while achieving mutually beneficial outcomes
- Complete tasks in line with Glencoe Health and Safety standards and the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of housekeeping or commercial laundry experience
- A diplomatic, outgoing personality with an ability to foster relationships with members and employees
- Demonstrators strong collaboration skill as a team player with a positive attitude, and willingness to support others
- Comfortable with the physical requirements of the job including standing for extended periods of time, walking, lifting, grasping and performing repetitive tasks
- Adaptability and flexibility to learn and apply skills through on-the job training, development, and coaching
- Ability to effectively follow verbal and written instructions in English

Additional Details:
This is a full-time position that reports to the Housekeeping Director. This role will fill our 'afternoon' shift which is typically scheduled from 2:00pm to 10:30pm. The successful applicant may also be required to work a variety of shifts including morning, daytime, evening and weekend shifts.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace online certifications prior to commencing employment.
