Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Volunteer role based in Toronto, ON. Volunteers will support research and analysis on global risk, resilience, and innovation topics, including gathering data, reviewing reports, and summarizing key findings for internal and external use. Day-to-day activities may include assisting with drafting briefs, presentations, and educational materials, helping organize events or workshops, and coordinating with partners and working groups. Volunteers will also contribute to project coordination tasks such as maintaining documentation, tracking milestones, and supporting communication between teams. The role offers exposure to international policy, risk management, and innovation ecosystems while contributing to GCRI’s mission-driven initiatives.

- Interest in global risk, resilience, public policy, climate, or innovation-related fields.
- Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software).
- Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory practices in all work.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline (e.g., public policy, international relations, environmental studies, economics, data science) or equivalent experience is an asset.
