We’re looking for an on-site Account Manager in the industrial packaging industry.
Our client is a privately owned North American supplier of bulk packaging solutions used across agriculture, food production, construction, landscaping, and industrial markets. The business is highly relationship-driven and works with customers who value quality, reliability, and long-term partnership over transactional pricing. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of strategic customer accounts, developing new opportunities within existing relationships, and becoming a trusted advisor to customers across the assigned industry verticals.
Account Manager responsibilities:- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic customer accounts within agriculture, food, and related industries
- Build strong, long-term relationships with operational, procurement, and executive-level stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to increase product adoption and expand existing business
- Conduct regular customer visits, business reviews, and contract discussions
- Coordinate internal resources to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded
- Support customized product and packaging solutions for customer requirements
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, forecasting, and account planning
- Travel throughout Canada and the U.S. to support customer relationships and growth initiatives
The successful candidate has:- 3+ years of B2B account management or sales experience
- Experience selling into larger organizations and managing strategic customer relationships
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience reviewing contracts, conducting business reviews, and negotiating commercial agreements
- Curiosity, resourcefulness, and a proactive approach to uncovering growth opportunities
- Ability to work effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and different personality types
- Agriculture, food manufacturing, packaging, or related industry experience is considered an asset
- Additional language skills, particularly French or Spanish, are considered an asset
Compensation and benefits:- The discussed salary range is $80,000 to $105,000 depending on experience
- Annual bonus opportunity of up to 20% of base salary
