Original job description

Company Description The LINQ Agency is one of North America’s fastest-growing experiential marketing agencies, built on the belief that human connection is the most powerful form of media. Originating in highly regulated industries such as banking, insurance, and gaming, LINQ brings strong operational rigor and compliance standards to every program, ensuring brands gain impactful experiences without added risk. The agency is privately owned, enabling lean operations, direct access to industry experts, and a partner-focused approach without unnecessary corporate layers. LINQ also integrates AI in practical ways - such as real-time reporting and performance optimization - to sharpen programs while keeping human interaction at the center of field sales, retail, and brand activations.
Role Description The Retail Sales Ambassador is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB, responsible for representing client brands in retail environments and driving in-store sales. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with shoppers, delivering product demonstrations, answering questions, and providing knowledgeable guidance to support purchasing decisions. The role involves maintaining a clean and organized display area, ensuring accurate product placement and signage, and tracking basic sales metrics or customer feedback as required. The Retail Sales Ambassador collaborates with store staff and LINQ field leadership, follows program guidelines, and upholds brand standards to create memorable, accountable customer experiences.
Qualifications

Strong Retail Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to meet or exceed targets in a fast-paced store environment.
Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage diverse shoppers and build positive brand relationships.
Solid Product Knowledge capabilities, including learning key features, benefits, and competitive differentiators for featured brands.
Prior experience in retail, field sales, or brand activation is preferred.
Comfort working on-site, standing for extended periods, and interacting with customers throughout the shift.
Reliable time management, professional appearance, and adherence to program standards and compliance requirements.
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in marketing, business, or a related field is an asset.
