Original job description
Mainstream West Essex consultancy requires a Senior Structural Engineer to join the head office of a multi-sited operation.
Candidates will need to be a Chartered (or near) Graduate member of IStructE and/or ICE, have a BEng/BSc in Structural or Civil Engineering (2:1 minimum) from a UK university and have good design and project-running skills gained in UK consultancy.
Current workload is a mixture of both new-build and refurbishment developments with project values up to £200million with a current bias towards Developer-led residential phased developments.

Responsibilities
Design and deliver structural engineering projects across new-build and refurbishment developments, including large phased residential schemes. Run projects within a consultancy environment and contribute to the head office of a multi-site operation.
Requirements
Candidates should be a Chartered or near-Chartered Graduate member of IStructE and/or ICE and hold at least a 2:1 BEng or BSc in Structural or Civil Engineering from a UK university. They should have strong design and project-running skills gained in a UK consultancy.
