The Logistics 3PL Senior Broker is responsible for developing and managing freight solutions by connecting customers with reliable carrier partners across North America. This role sources and secures freight capacity, negotiates rates, builds and maintains customer and carrier relationships, and oversees shipments from pickup through delivery. Success in this position requires strong industry knowledge, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to proactively solve transportation challenges while maximizing service, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Source, secure, and manage freight with reliable carriers
- Negotiate competitive rates while maintaining service quality
- Track and trace shipments, resolving issues proactively
- Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal teams
- Grow and manage a personal carrier network
- Ensure timely documentation, billing accuracy, and compliance
- Identify opportunities to optimize cost, service, and route efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of 3PL brokerage experience
- Understanding of TL/LTL, flatbed, heavy haul, and/or Van freight
- Ability to negotiate rates and manage carrier relationships
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with TMS platforms and load boards (Loadlink, HubSpot)
- High attention to detail and organizational ability
- Self-motivated with strong ownership
- Existing carrier network in Canada/USA
- Existing customer network in Canada/USA
- Knowledge of Canadian transportation regulations
