About the Opportunity
Our client is an established, independent wealth management firm in Calgary providing comprehensive investment and financial planning solutions to high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and professionals.
They are looking to add a Client Service Associate to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented financial services professional who enjoys working closely with clients and advisors and wants to build a long-term career within an independent wealth management environment.
The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering a high level of client service while supporting the advisory team with the day-to-day administration and execution of client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing responsive and professional service
- Support Advisors with day-to-day client service and administrative requirements
- Prepare and process account opening, transfers, deposits, withdrawals and other client documentation
- Coordinate client requests and follow up to ensure timely resolution
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
- Assist with investment account administration and transaction processing
- Coordinate client meetings, appointments and follow-ups
- Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations and other client materials
- Liaise with custodians, investment dealers, financial institutions and other external partners
- Assist with compliance-related documentation and ensure files remain current
- Support client onboarding and account maintenance processes
- Identify opportunities to improve the client experience and internal processes
- Work collaboratively with Advisors and other members of the team to ensure a seamless client experience
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, banking, or a related environment
- Previous experience supporting Financial Advisors, Portfolio Managers or Wealth Management teams is preferred
- Strong understanding of investment accounts, financial services administration and client documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client service mindset and professional presence
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Experience with CRM and/or portfolio management systems is an asset
- Canadian securities or financial services credentials are an asset
