Role Description The Sales and Marketing Representative role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with cemeteries, funeral homes, and related organizations, as well as maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers. The representative will conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions to showcase ThermoDigital’s memorial markers and associated services. Daily responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotes and proposals, coordinating orders with internal teams, and supporting marketing campaigns through outreach, follow-ups, and participation in industry events. The role requires consistent on-site collaboration with management and team members to align sales activities with overall marketing strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage clients, provide product information, and address inquiries professionally.
- Proven experience in Sales and Sales & Marketing, with the ability to generate leads, close deals, and support promotional initiatives.
- Ability to deliver Training for clients and team members on product features, usage, and best practices.
- Previous experience in B2B sales, preferably in memorial, cemetery, or related industries, is an asset.
- Comfort with on-site client visits and travel within the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions as required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in proposals and order documentation.
- Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations) and CRM tools is beneficial.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
