Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Oakville, Pickering, Cambridge and St. Catharines, ON for a Geotechnical Intern & Geotechnical Engineer at Thurber Engineering Ltd. The role involves conducting site investigations, analyzing soil samples, utilizing geotechnical engineering principles, assessing engineering geology, and contributing to foundation designs.
Qualifications
- Site Investigation and Soil expertise
- Geotechnical Engineering knowledge
- Understanding of Engineering Geology
- Experience in Foundation Design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Geological or Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation is an asset
