Role Description The Project Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bradford, ON. The Project Manager will oversee window, door, and curtain wall projects from initiation to completion, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget tracking. This role coordinates with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely expediting of materials, adherence to specifications, and alignment with project milestones. Daily responsibilities include managing logistics and deliveries, organizing inspections and quality checks, maintaining accurate project documentation, and proactively resolving issues that could impact timelines or quality. The Project Manager will also support continuous improvement efforts, contribute to process optimization, and uphold safety and compliance standards on all projects.
Qualifications
- Project coordination and leadership skills, including Project Management experience and familiarity with construction or architectural products.
- Expediting and Expeditor capabilities to manage material flow, monitor order status, and ensure on-time delivery to job sites.
- Inspection and quality control skills to review installations, verify compliance with specifications, and address deficiencies.
- Logistics Management skills for planning shipments, coordinating with carriers, and optimizing delivery schedules and routes.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining professional client relationships.
- Proficiency with project management software and common office tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, or similar platforms).
- Experience in windows, doors, glazing, or construction industries is an asset; post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, or a related field is beneficial.
