TMU Integrated Health Centres

Toronto Metropolitan University Integrated Health Centres (TMU IHC) are a network of team-based health clinics that are increasing access to primary care for underserved communities in the Greater Toronto Area and beyond. In addition to delivering high-quality care to local residents, TMU IHC's will serve as teaching sites for the Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine, training inclusive doctors who are skilled in interprofessional care and who embrace emerging technologies in their practice. Medical students will be embedded within the IHCs, training in team-based settings alongside physicians, nurses, social workers, nutritionists and other health-care professionals. TMU’s flagship IHC is located within the university’s School of Medicine in Brampton.
