Water Restoration Technician (Flood Tech) – Vernon, BC
We’re looking for someone who wants more than just a job, we’re looking for someone who wants to build a solid career in restoration.
We handle floods, fires, and rebuilds, so the work is hands-on, fast-paced, and actually makes a difference for people going through tough situations.
If you like staying busy, working with a good crew, and seeing real results at the end of the day, you’ll fit in well here.
💥What the job actually looks like
This is a hands-on, physical role where no two days are the same. You’ll be:
- Leading water damage and emergency response jobs
- Setting up and managing drying systems
- Directing and supporting crew members on site
- Monitoring moisture, documentation, and job progress
- Ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to standard
- Working directly with homeowners during stressful situations
Some days are fast-paced and messy. Some are quieter. You need to be good with both.
💰What you get
- Full-time, steady work
- Competitive hourly wage + overtime
- Extended health & dental benefits
- Vacation pay
- Cell phone or allowance
- Work shirts provided (steel toe boots required)
- Paid training & opportunity to get IICRC certified
- Company support and proper equipment to run your jobs
☀️We take care of our crew
This is physical work, especially in the Okanagan heat. We make sure you’re set up for it:
- Hydration kits (coolers with water, Gatorade, ice packs)
- Snacks and protein bars available
- You’re not just a number, we’re a tight team, not a big corporate operation
- A team that looks out for each other on long or tough days
We don’t expect people to grind through extreme conditions without support.
👍What makes someone successful here
- Shows up on time and can be counted on
- Comfortable doing physical work all day
- Keeps a good attitude, even on tough jobs
- Treats customers with respect and professionalism
- Works well with a team but doesn’t need constant direction
✅What you’ll need
- Valid BC Driver’s Licence (clean abstract required)
- Ability to pass a criminal record check
- Experience in restoration, construction, or labour is an asset
- IICRC WRT certification is a bonus (we can help you get it)
- Experience driving a cube van or similar is an asset
