The Township of Oro-Medonte is currently recruiting for the position of âVolunteer Firefightersâ for Station #2 (East Oro) and Station #6 (Moonstone).
Successful applicants must have the following:
- A valid G2 Class Ontario driver's licence; with a clean driver’s abstract
- DZ license preferred (must obtain within two years of employment)
- 18 years of age or older at time of application, with no criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
- Live within an acceptable distance to one of the hiring fire stations
All interested applicants are required to attend one of the following mandatory scheduled sessions:
- Wednesday, September 16 @ 7:00pm
Location: Station #2 East Oro (259 Line 11 N)
- Tuesday, September 29 @ 7:00pm
Location: Station #6 Moonstone (5668 Line 7 N)
