A Great Opportunity to Build Your Estimating Career
Due to continued demand, we are adding a Window Estimator to our growing team.
You’ll work closely with our Sales team to review projects, visit job sites, interpret blueprints, complete material take-offs, and prepare accurate quotes for window and door projects.
This is a great opportunity for someone with construction or technical experience who enjoys working with drawings, numbers, and people.
What You'll Do
- Review architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and window/door schedules
- Complete material take-offs and prepare accurate project estimates
- Visit job sites to review project requirements and take measurements
- Work closely with Sales to develop accurate and competitive quotes
- Identify potential project challenges and cost-effective solutions
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams as needed
- Support the handoff of awarded projects to production and installation
- Learn and use our estimating and ERP systems, including Paradime
What We're Looking For
We are open to candidates at different stages of their careers. Previous window and door estimating experience is an asset, but not required.
- Construction, estimating, architectural, or related experience is an asset
- Comfortable working with numbers and detailed information
- Ability or willingness to learn how to read blueprints
- Basic Excel and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable visiting construction sites and taking measurements
- Reliable, practical, and willing to learn
- Team-oriented and able to build strong relationships with Sales
New graduates, newcomers to Canada, and candidates with transferable experience are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided to the right person.
Compensation
$40,000 – $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
