Operations & Logistics Intern - TradeSpace (Edmonton)
TradeSpace is Canada's first co-warehousing company. 250+ businesses run their operations out of our three Calgary locations, and we're opening our first Edmonton site in early 2027. That means you won't shadow one company; you'll touch dozens, and you'll help open a brand-new building.
We're looking for an Operations & Logistics Intern to work alongside our operations team on FF&E (furniture, fixtures & equipment) projects, member support, and day-to-day warehouse operations.
What you'll do
- Receive and track incoming freight and deliveries for members
- Support organization projects
- Coordinate courier pickups and deliveries
- Help with member move-ins, setup, and warehouse layout changes
- Help get the new Edmonton site set up and running
- Keep inventory and site records organized and accurate
What you'll learn
- How a live, multi-tenant warehouse actually runs, not a simulation
- Courier systems, inventory tracking, and the software we run the building on
- What it takes to open a new location from the ground up
- How to prioritize and problem-solve when deadlines are real
Who you are
- Studying Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or Operations (NAIT, MacEwan, U of A, NorQuest, or similar)
- Reliable, organized, and eager to learn by doing
- Comfortable with hands-on, physical warehouse work
- A clear communicator who can juggle a few things at once
