About the Role:
We're currently recruiting a
Full-Time Driver Trainer to support our growing
Grey Bruce Schools operations. In this role, you'll play a critical part in shaping the next generation of professional drivers while ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional service and uphold our safety-first culture.
Hourly Rate: $25.00
Schedule: Monday to Friday (weekends based on demand)

Primary Responsibilities
The Driver Trainer is responsible for training and teaching employees how to drive all Company owned vehicles in a safe and professional manner. The role also includes providing a high degree of customer service in a fast-paced work environment.
This position includes the following duties:
- Conduct Driver Assessments to evaluate skill, safety, and readiness.
- Deliver Voyago Division Training Programs in accordance with company standards and policies.
- Facilitate License Upgrading programs, specifically for B Class licensing.
- Lead external instructional training sessions as required.
- Support the Operations Manager with additional duties and projects as assigned
- Ready and able to drive as a substitute to assist the operations team as required
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Valid B or E Class License held for a minimum of 3 years required
- Clean Driver Abstract with no demerit points required
- Clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector Screening required
- Proven track record of excellent customer service
- Strong knowledge of Grey Bruce and surrounding areas
- Effective organizational and communication skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as required
- Understanding of the vehicle-for-hire industry and relevant regulations
- Familiarity with wheelchair tie-down systems (Q'Straint and similar)
- Possess a signing authority
