Role Summary
The Solution Architect is the senior technical authority responsible for the end-to-end architectural design, client IT approval, and technical governance of multi-agent AI platforms. Working alongside dedicated AI, Integration/Data, and Platform engineers, this role bridges the gap between client business needs and technical execution. The architect is hands-on in prototyping and whiteboarding, and primarily accountable for defining sound blueprints, securing formal IT approvals, and maintaining a transparent log of technical decisions and trade-offs.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and document the end-to-end multi-agent solution architecture, serving as the technical blueprint for the dedicated AI, Data, and Platform engineers.
- Lead all technical engagements with client IT, security, and governance teams to present architectures, discuss design trade-offs, and secure formal implementation approvals.
- Maintain a formal registry of key architectural decisions, technology selections, and trade-off rationales to ensure continuous client alignment.
- Design robust integration patterns to connect AI runtimes with legacy enterprise platforms, transactional databases, and third-party APIs via secure middleware.
- Architect distributed state-management and low-latency patterns to ensure seamless user experiences across voice, SMS, and web channels.
- Build targeted, hands-on proof-of-concept integrations to validate novel architectural patterns and technical feasibility before full-scale development begins.
Required Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of enterprise software architecture experience, with a proven track record of designing and deploying cloud-native platforms.
- Hands-on architectural experience with the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (GEAP) and Gemini Enterprise CX (GECX), including Agent Runtime and multi-agent orchestration.
- Proven ability to act as the lead client-facing architect, navigating complex IT governance, security reviews, and stakeholder alignment.
- Strong background designing event-driven and API-led integrations to connect cloud environments with legacy transactional systems.
- Deep understanding of enterprise cloud security and IAM, including VPC service perimeters, data privacy, and secure credential propagation.
- Experience guiding and translating high-level architectures into clear, actionable guidance for specialized AI, data, and platform engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or similar professional cloud certifications.
- Direct experience with specialized configuration suites such as GCP CX Agent Studio (Dialogflow CX) or Vertex AI Agent Builder.
- Experience with real-time streaming protocols (WebSockets, gRPC) and telephony gateways (e.g., Twilio, CPaaS).
- Experience deploying and securing enterprise APIs through gateway management platforms like Apigee.
- Practical understanding of distributed caching layers (such as Redis/Memorystore) used for conversational state tracking.
