ROLE OVERVIEW
Treefrog is seeking a Digital Project Manager to join our team on a full-time basis to fill an existing role. This role sits at the centre of our delivery operations, ensuring client projects are planned, executed, and handed off on time, on budget, and within agreed scope. You will serve as the primary project lead across a portfolio of digital engagements, managing timelines, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications from kickoff to completion. The Digital Project Manager works cross-functionally with Design, Development, Digital Marketing, and Client Services to keep projects on track and clients informed throughout every phase of delivery.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Project Planning and Delivery
- Initiate, plan, manage, and execute digital projects from concept to completion, on time, on budget, and within agreed scope
- Build and maintain detailed project schedules with tasks, milestones, durations, resource assignments, billing dates, and effort tracking
- Monitor project progress against plans, flag risk areas proactively, and escalate issues when needed
- Ensure scope is clearly defined, agreed upon, and followed throughout the project lifecycle
- Maintain accurate, accessible project documentation at every stage
Client and Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients throughout project delivery, communicating proactively and managing expectations with clarity and professionalism
- Build strong client relationships grounded in trust, transparency, and responsiveness
- Provide input to proposals, SOWs, and estimates based on project specifications and team capacity
- Support the Client Services and Sales teams with scoping questions, process explanations, and project feasibility assessments
- Update leadership on project progress, produce status reports, and flag risk areas early
Resource and Process Management
- Manage resource workloads and scheduling with PMO colleagues, ensuring appropriate prioritization across projects
- Identify process gaps and contribute to improvements by defining, recommending, and implementing new workflows or tools
- Evaluate and adopt new project management tools and functionality as the agency's needs evolve
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3+ years of hands-on project management experience in a digital agency or technology company
- Post-secondary education in Project Management, or a PMP designation (or equivalent experience)
- Strong working knowledge of project management platforms such as Wrike, Scoro, Jira, MS Project, or similar
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Comfort with communication and collaboration tools such as Slack and Zoom
- Proven ability to manage multiple client projects and relationships at once without losing quality or attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills that are professional, clear, and client-ready
- Experience writing and defining scope documentation, SOWs, and project budgets
- Solid understanding of risk management and quality assurance processes
- Ability to prepare and interpret Gantt charts, project schedules, and step-by-step action plans
- Comfort working cross-functionally and adapting quickly to shifting priorities
- Working knowledge of digital channels and deliverables (web, apps, social media, digital marketing)
- Sales and business analysis experience is an asset
WHAT WE OFFER YOU
- Remote-first work, with quarterly in-person attendance at our company "State of the Union" in the GTA
- Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time
- Salary range: $70,000 to $90,000

OUR INTERVIEW PROCESS
- Stage 1: Initial Screen (30 minutes). A quick virtual chat with HR about your experience, location, and salary expectations.
- Stage 2: Technical Interview (60 minutes). A deep dive into your project management expertise with our Sr. Director, Client Service and Director, Operations.
- Stage 3: Final Conversation (60 minutes). A conversation with our Executive Team about vision and culture.
