We are seeking an Assembler to join our dynamic team. The Assembler plays a key role in ensuring the precision and quality of our mechanical assemblies. This position is responsible for fitting, aligning, troubleshooting, and repairing components to meet exacting standards. You will ensure that all materials and drawings are prepared for assembly and that systems are ready for testing, supporting efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations. We are seeking a motivated individual who is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assembles, fits, and aligns mechanical assemblies
- Review kit and drawings for completeness
- Following diagrams to assemble parts and highlight any issues to supervisor
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical assemblies
- Quality inspections
- Organize outgoing projects and ensure completeness
- Works closely with mechanical design team on any challenges
- Assist in Wash Bay as needed to prep material for assembly
- Active member of continuous improvement teams
- Assists in manufacturing shop where needed to meet project deadlines
- Assist with loading and offloading of freight
- Assist with manual material handling, packaging, and crating
- Post-secondary education and/or relevant work experience
- Prior assembly experience
- Welding and Fabrication experience an asset
- Knowledge in reading drawings considered a strong asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced team environment
- Familiar with basic hand and power tools
- Mechanical aptitude

Hourly Wage Range For The Role: $20.00 - $23.25
