Original job description

The Opportunity

We’re not looking for someone who simply wants a job. We’re looking for a leader who wants to make an impact, build a high-performing team, grow a business, and build a long-term career with Comox Valley Toyota.

As one of Vancouver Island’s premier automotive dealerships and a proud member of Trotman Auto Group, we offer an environment where ambition is recognized, leadership is valued, and earning potential is driven by performance. Our continued success depends on leaders who embrace challenges, think strategically, develop their people, and aren’t afraid to get in the trenches when the dealership gets busy.

If you’re looking for an opportunity where you can take ownership, lead from the front, and have the potential to earn $100,000–$200,000+, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

Who Thrives Here?

You’re not just a manager. You’re a builder.

You see opportunity where others see obstacles. You know how to create structure, improve processes, develop people, and turn a good team into a great one.

You’re energized by growth, motivated by results, and adaptable enough to succeed in an industry that never stands still.

You Likely

Love to win and help your team win
Lead with confidence, accountability, and integrity
Bring the hustle, energy, and drive to outperform expectations
Take ownership and find solutions rather than making excuses
Know how to recruit, coach, motivate, and develop sales talent

Most importantly, you're a self-starter who refuses to settle for average.

Why Join Comox Valley Toyota?

A rewarding leadership career with a top automotive group in BC
Full‑time, permanent opportunity
Compensation is designed to reward performance and leadership excellence.
Comprehensive benefits - medical, dental, mental wellness support, and more
A supportive, performance‑driven workplace culture
Career Growth & Development - paid training, NADA courses, and internal advancement opportunities

Compensation: $150,000 to $250,000+ annually (Commission-Based)

Schedule: Full-Time

What Your Day Will Look Like

Lead and Develop Your Team - Recruit, coach, motivate, and develop sales professionals to reach their full potential.
Drive Sales Performance - Set the pace, create accountability, monitor performance, and find opportunities to increase sales and profitability.
Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences - Lead by example and ensure every customer interaction reflects the high standards of Comox Valley Toyota.
Manage Operations Strategically - Use data, market trends, inventory, CRM activity, and sales performance metrics to make smart business decisions.
Lead From the Front - Be visible, engaged, and hands-on. When the dealership is busy, you’re right there with your team making things happen.

What You Bring

5+ years of proven success in automotive sales leadership
A strong track record of leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
Strong business acumen with a results-driven, performance-focused mindset
Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, CRM systems, DealerSocket, or similar platforms
Valid VSA Licence
Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract
Entrepreneurial mindset, positive attitude, and a relentless drive to succeed

If you thrive on competition, enjoy coaching others to success, love the excitement of closing a deal, and want to represent a brand that customers are genuinely excited about, we want to meet you.

Join Comox Valley Toyota and drive your career and your earning potential forward.
