Role Description The Product Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Truro Toyota in Truro, NS. In this role, the Product Advisor will welcome guests to the dealership, conduct needs assessments, and provide knowledgeable guidance on vehicle features, benifits, and pricing. Day-to-day responsibilities include presenting and demonstrating vehicles, preparing quotes, supporting test drives, and following up with prospective and existing guests to build long-term relationships. The Product Advisor will also collaborate with the sales and service teams, maintain accurate records in dealership systems, and contribute to a positive, customer-focused showroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong Customer Service and Sales skills, with a focus on building trust and long-term guest relationships.
- Clear and professional Communication skills, including active listening and the ability to explain complex information simply.
- Solid Analytical Skills to understand guest needs, interpret product information, and support pricing and financing discussions.
- Foundational Product Management skills to learn, understand, and effectively present the Toyota product lineup and associated services.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with cross-functional dealership teams.
- Previous experience in automotive sales is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to work with CRM or dealership management systems.
- Valid Nova Scotia Driver License
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required in a dealership setting.
