About TWIGZ
TWIGZ is a growing Canadian snack brand scaling quickly across North America, and innovation will be an important part of our next stage of growth.
We are looking for a highly hands-on Product Commercialization Manager to help us accelerate the pace at which we bring new products and ideas to market.
This is an opportunity for someone who understands food CPG, enjoys solving problems, and thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
The mandate is simple: take good ideas and get them to market, quickly, efficiently, and profitably.
The Opportunity
You will be the commercialization lead for new products, packaging formats, line extensions, and other innovation initiatives.
This is an individual-contributor role where you will personally drive projects from approved concept through sourcing, development, costing, trials, manufacturing readiness, and launch.
You will work across Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Finance, suppliers, and external manufacturing partners to coordinate execution, remove roadblocks, and keep multiple projects moving forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Commercialization
- Drive approved product concepts from development through commercial launch
- Build and manage project timelines, milestones, owners, and launch requirements
- Coordinate multiple commercialization projects at the same time
- Identify risks and roadblocks early and drive them to resolution
- Keep projects moving and ensure teams stay accountable to deadlines
Product Development & Manufacturing Readiness
- Coordinate product development, samples, plant trials, scale-up, and production readiness
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, suppliers, and technical partners
- Coordinate ingredients, specifications, packaging, testing, shelf life, labeling, and other launch requirements
- Ensure new products can be produced consistently and efficiently at commercial scale
Suppliers & Sourcing
- Identify and engage ingredient suppliers, packaging suppliers, co-manufacturers, and other external partners
- Support sourcing of ingredients, packaging, equipment, and services needed for new products
- Evaluate pricing, lead times, MOQs, capabilities, and supply risks
- Find alternative suppliers and solutions when challenges arise
- Keep external partners accountable to project timelines
Costing & Commercial Readiness
- Work with Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Operations to understand product economics
- Track ingredient, packaging, manufacturing, freight, and other cost inputs
- Support product costing and margin analysis
- Identify cost or feasibility issues early in the process
- Ensure products meet commercial and operational requirements before launch
Cross-Functional Project Management
- Act as the central point of coordination across Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Finance, and external partners
- Translate projects into clear actions, owners, and deadlines
- Maintain visibility into project status, risks, and key decisions
- Keep launches moving when priorities change or unexpected issues arise
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 5+ years of experience in food, beverage, snacks, or CPG
- Experience in product commercialization, product development, innovation, technical project management, or a similar role
- Experience taking food products from concept through commercial production and launch
- Strong understanding of food manufacturing, ingredients, packaging, and supply chains
- Experience working with suppliers, co-manufacturers, and manufacturing teams
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of costing, margins, MOQs, lead times, and commercial feasibility
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities at once
- Strong communication and follow-through
- Experience in a fast-growing or entrepreneurial CPG environment is a strong asset
The Right Mindset
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a doer who gets things across the finish line
- Is highly organized and strong at managing multiple projects, timelines, and dependencies
- Has a strong bias toward action and believes speed is a competitive advantage
- Is comfortable personally calling suppliers, chasing samples, getting quotes, and solving problems
- Understands both the technical and commercial sides of food CPG
- Is comfortable making decisions and moving forward without perfect information
- Knows when to push for speed and when a technical, quality, or cost issue needs to be resolved first
- Holds internal teams and external partners accountable
- Brings urgency, resourcefulness, ownership, and strong commercial judgment
What Success Looks Like
First 90 Days
- Take ownership of TWIGZ’s active commercialization projects
- Establish clear timelines, milestones, owners, and next steps for priority launches
- Move projects forward across sourcing, costing, packaging, trials, and manufacturing readiness
- Resolve existing roadblocks and accelerate projects that have stalled
- Improve visibility and accountability across commercialization workstreams
- Establish a simple, repeatable process for taking products from concept to launch
Why Join TWIGZ?
This is an opportunity to help bring the next generation of products to market for a rapidly growing North American consumer brand.
You’ll work directly across Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, and Operations and have meaningful ownership over how quickly TWIGZ turns ideas into commercial products.
If you enjoy taking an idea, figuring out everything required to make it real, and ultimately seeing that product come off a production line and onto a retail shelf, this is that kind of role.
