At Twilight, we're looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor who can lead our shop team, keep production moving, and help turn great ideas into even better finished products.
This role is more than just overseeing the day-to-day operation of the shop. You'll be responsible for the production of creative experiences! We are a custom fabricator so oversight of production is always bringing unique challenges to deliver. The role is inclusive of managing priorities, supervising employees, guiding and recommending an continuous improvement and efficiency all the while ensuring the environment is safe..

What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and support the production team while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Execute on a the two-week production schedule, ensuring labour, equipment, and materials are aligned to meet project deadlines.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules and resources as required to keep work on track.
- Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Methods of Manufacture (MOMs) to ensure projects are ready for production.
- Coordinate daily shop activities and establish priorities based on production requirements.
- Work closely with Project Management and Operations to identify scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and resource needs.
- Ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
- Complete and close work orders accurately, ensuring labour, materials, and inventory transactions are captured correctly.
- Assist in resolving production challenges and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Promote and enforce all health and safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support employee development through training, coaching, and performance management.
- Assist with production activities when operational needs require it.
What You'll Bring
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills.
- Experience managing production schedules and coordinating resources.
- Ability to review and understand production documentation, including BOMs and manufacturing instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot production-related issues.
- A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production or ERP systems.
Assets
- Experience in the signage industry.
- Knowledge of custom fabrication, large-format graphics, electrical signage, or related manufacturing processes.
- Experience working within ERP or production management systems.
