This role involves editing a memorable 15-minute highlight video and two 90-minute background videos from footage captured at Burning Man by a group of friends. The footage comes from various devices, including iPhone, Android, and Insta360 cameras. The editor will be responsible for organizing, selecting, and editing the raw footage to create engaging, high-quality videos suitable for sharing and party backgrounds. The project requires a creative approach to storytelling, attention to detail, and the ability to work with diverse video sources. Delivery is expected within 2–3 weeks.
Deliverables
- Edit a 15-minute highlight video capturing the essence and best moments of the Burning Man experience.
- Create two separate 90-minute background videos for parties, set to provided DJ mixes.
- Organize and manage raw footage from multiple devices and formats.
- Ensure smooth transitions, consistent color grading, and high-quality audio syncing with DJ mixes.
- Deliver final videos in formats suitable for sharing and playback at events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing, preferably with event or travel footage.
- Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Ability to work with footage from multiple sources and formats (iPhone, Android, Insta360).
- Strong organizational skills for managing large volumes of raw footage.
- Creative storytelling and visual composition abilities.
- Attention to detail in color grading, audio syncing, and transitions.
- Ability to meet a 2–3 week turnaround time.
- Reliable communication and responsiveness throughout the project.
- Experience with music-driven edits is a plus.
