Position Summary: Position Summary: Reporting to the Operation Manager, the Material Handler moves parts and finished tractors/equipment through TYM Canada's warehouse - managing inbound receiving, delivering parts to the Assembly Area, and loading and shipping finished units out to dealers using a forklift.
Job Functions:
- Operate heavy-duty and standard forklifts to load and unload inbound parts and outbound finished units
- Receive incoming parts shipments, verify against packing slips/purchase orders, and stage or put away stock in the correct warehouse location
- Pick, pack and deliver parts to the Assembly Area as required
- Stage, load and secure finished tractors/equipment onto trucks to ensure accurate, on-time outbound shipment to dealers
- Manage inbound receiving and outbound shipping accurately, completing all transactions in the inventory/ERP system
- Perform routine pre-shift forklift inspections and report any equipment or safety issues
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse and yard, following safety procedures at all times
- Assist with periodic cycle counts and physical inventory as needed
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience as a Material Handler, Forklift Operator or Warehouse Associate, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- 3+ years of experience operating a heavy-duty forklift
- Regular and reliable attendance is required.
