TyTech is looking for a motivated and hands-on Service & Installation Technician to join our growing team.
We are a family-oriented company serving the dairy industry. Our team takes pride in providing quality equipment, installation, service and support to our customers. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems and being part of a close-knit team.
What We're Looking For
- Farm or agricultural background is an asset
- Mechanical aptitude and a strong willingness to learn
- Knowledge and experience with electrical systems
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and diagnose problems
- Comfortable working with tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel to customer farms and job sites
- Training will be provided on TyTech equipment, systems and service procedures
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing and servicing dairy equipment
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
- Performing equipment repairs and maintenance
- Performing preventative maintenance to help keep customer equipment operating reliably
- Welding and fabrication as required
- Working directly with customers on their farms
- Helping with equipment start-up, adjustments and system troubleshooting
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional work environment
