Are you detail oriented, even when multitasking? Do you have a strong understanding of front-to-back trade processing, a client-focused mindset, and a high level of risk awareness?
We’re looking for someone like that to help us with:
• delivering effective risk management controls, high-quality trade support, and reliable settlement services.
• executing assigned processes and controls in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
• supporting the front-to-back equity trade lifecycle, from trade capture and exception management through clearance and settlement.
• understanding the risks associated with the business and function, and escalate issues appropriately.
• identifying, investigate, and resolve operational exceptions while maintaining a strong risk and control mindset.
• working across teams and functions to determine the best solution or course of action.
• contributing to process improvements, digitalization, and the continued strengthening of the control environment.
• providing responsive, professional support to internal and external clients.

We support the full trade lifecycle from execution through final settlement, including the timely settlement of equity trades through CDS and DTC.

• Solid experience supporting the end-to-end equity trade lifecycle within an investment bank, with exposure to trade support, operational controls, reconciliations, regulatory reporting, clearing, or settlements.
• experience with CDS, DTC, equity trade support, or Canadian securities operations is preferred. Candidates with strong transferable experience in related operational functions will also be considered. Exposure to TMX PTM, DTC, Broadridge, Arrow, ParaMAX, or cash management systems is an asset.
• experience executing operational controls, investigating exceptions, and working within a robust risk and control framework.
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively, logically, and flexibly.
• ideally advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables. VBA experience is an asset.
• ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to hybrid or office-based working arrangements.
