Role Description The Insurance Broker role is a full-time hybrid position based in Brampton, ON, with flexibility for some work from home. The broker will advise clients on personal and commercial insurance products, assess risk profiles, and recommend appropriate coverage options. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing quotes, processing applications, policy changes, and renewals, and maintaining accurate client documentation in brokerage systems. The role involves responding to client inquiries, handling claims-related questions, and providing ongoing customer service to build long-term relationships. The broker will also stay current with industry regulations, insurer offerings, and market trends to deliver informed, compliant advice and contribute to the growth of the brokerage.
Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, including advising on coverage, underwriting basics, and policy placement.
- Background in Finance and Retirement Planning to support clients with integrated risk and financial solutions.
- Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and clear communication.
- Relevant provincial licensing (e.g., RIBO or equivalent) and familiarity with Ontario insurance regulations.
- Proficiency with brokerage management systems, CRM tools, and standard office software.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities between office and remote work.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail in documentation and compliance.
