Job Title: Shop Framer

Timber-Tech Building Solutions is a Canadian company that builds quality walls and floors for residential construction in our prefabrication shop. We provide a positive work environment for our employees and excellent value for our customers. Timber-Tech Building Solutions is looking to hire framers to work in our shop based in Balzac, AB. The position will report directly to the Shop Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the requirements and layout of the framing work.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete framing tasks.
Select appropriate materials for the job, ensuring quality and compliance with building codes.
Build floors, walls, and roofs by assembling framing materials and installing them as per the design specifications.
Assist with the installation of sheathing, insulation and other building materials as needed.
Adhere to safely protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet project goals.
Maintain clear and organized work areas and properly dispose of waste materials.
Qualifications:
Previous framing experience is strongly recommended.
Experience using circular saws, routers, nail guns, and pneumatic tools.
Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and framing methods.
Attention to detail and ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in an industrial setting.
Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Pay is based on qualifications and experience.
